Fees & charges – Dairy
You may be required to pay for the services provided by MPI. Fees and charges are calculated on a cost-recovery basis.
Further information about the regulations governing fees and charges can be found in the Policy and law section of the website.
Animal products levies
MPI runs a number of industry-wide programmes, such as the National Chemical Contaminants Programme (NCCP). Under the Animal Products Act 1999, operators are charged levies to cover this important work. You can find out more about these levies and the programmes in the Animal products – general section of the website. Refer to the pages, APA programme areas and Calculating APA levies.

There are some other services that you may also need to pay for. These include some, or all, of the following:
- registration of your Risk Management Programme (RMP)
